TRIP REPORTS
Currently,
Marshall is in China completing the Gobi
March! This 155-mile stage race (they stop every night
to sleep) will be completed in 6 stages over 7 days. Marshall
is racing with his dear friends and original Stray Dogs, Mark
Macy (Mace) and Dr. Robert Haugh (Dr. Bob). They are racing
as Team Stray Dogs GoLite, with sponsorship from GoLite.

THANKS
GoLite for all of your support, including outfitting
Team Stray Dogs GoLite with all of the best lite-weight equipment
and shoes!
Team
Stray Dogs GoLite also received additional support for LEKI,
Pacific Outdoor Equipment,
and ENGO blister prevention
patches.

more information on Team Stray Dogs GoLite in the Gobi March,
check out Marshall's
blog.
The
Kilimanjaro/Safari Benefit Expedition, June 2006 was a climb
up Mount Kilimanjaro and an African safari that provided a
unique opportunity for people just like
you to combine their active outdoor interests and their
generous spirit. The trip raised thousands of dollars for
the Religious Teachers Filippini, making a difference in the
lives of women and children around the world (see the Fundraising
page for more information), and providing the experience of
a lifetime to members of the expedition (see the Adventure
Travel page for more information).
To
see some amazing photographs from Kilimanjaro, the Serengeti,
Lake Manyara , and Ngorongoro Crater, and read a report from
one member of the expedition, please see Jo Ann Beine's Amazing
View trip report on Google pages. Many, many thanks to
Jo Ann for allowing Marshall to link to her wonderful trip report!
From
January 10-29, 2007 Marshall was in the Andes of Argentina
leading a group climbing Aconcagua via the Polish Glacier
Traverse. At 22,841 feet, Aconcagua is the highest peak in
the South America and is one of the "Seven Summits"
- the highest peak on each continent. In fact, Aconcagua is
the highest peak in the western hemisphere, and thus is the
highest peak outside of the Himalayas.
